• What should I bring?

    Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, towel, fishing(rash guard) shirt, camera.

  • What’s happens if the weather is bad?

    Captain Derek monitors the weather very closely,  usually we will wait until an hour of departure time to make a decesion. If the weather does not permit the trip going out you have the option to rebook, receive your deposit back, or have a credit for a futu trip with DPM Charters.

  • Can I keep shells?

    Yes, however you MUST return any shell with a living organisms in it.

  • Does Front Runner Sportfishing have a cancellation policy?

    Yes,  14 days within the trip date if you cancel or do not show up you forfit your deposit, If you cancel within 48 hours of your trips date you will be charged the full amount of the trips price. Holiday and special events are NOT refundable.

  • What are blackout dates?

    Blackout dates are dates saved for poker runs, offshore races, and other specialt events. Please see our "EVENTS CALENDAR " for blackout dates.

  • Are tips included ?

    No,  but gratuity tips are very much appreciated, Customarily they are 15-20% of the trip price.


  • Can I bring food and drinks?

    Yes, absolutely you're more then welcome to bring food we have onboard coolers. Glass in NOT permitted on board, NO hard alcohol is allowed on board.  SOTSSF provides water. 

  • Does Front Runner Sportfishing require a deposit?

    Yes, a deposit is required on all bookings, Front Runner Sportfishing will charge 10% of the trips price for deposits. See our Cancellation Policy for details.

  • What if I have more then 6 in my party?

    No worries, even though DPM Charters can take up to 6 passengers like most charter boats, we are partnered with another charter company to be sure a party of 12 can be accommodated.

  • What forms of payment does Front Runner Sportfishing accept?

    Front Runner Sportfishing accepts both cash and credit. Deposits MUST be let via credit card. 

  • Can we keep our catch?

    Yes, as long the species is in season and is big enough.
